Process for Recycling Construction Waste
Given the widespread distribution and complex composition of construction waste, mobile crushing and screening units are generally the most suitable choice. They are ideal for crushing and screening operations requiring frequent relocation and site transfers. OCP Heavy Industry's Y-series tire-mounted mobile crushing and screening stations integrate raw material hoppers, bar feeders, primary crushers, multi-layer vibrating screens, secondary crushers, fine crushers, mobile belt conveyors, sand washers, and electrical control systems with standard tire-mounted towable trailers. This integrated design creates a mobile crushing and screening line with extensive adaptability and advantages. Mixed waste materials undergo primary crushing via jaw crushers to produce uniformly sized aggregates. These aggregates then pass through circular vibrating screens and air separation equipment for impurity removal and screening, separating waste paper, plastic fragments, and other contaminants.
Converting construction waste into sand requires three main processes: crushing, sand making, and screening.
1. Crushing
The crushing stage primarily employs coarse or medium crushing for efficient reduction. Jaw crushers or impact crushers are typically selected to comprehensively break down various lumpy materials into uniformly sized semi-finished products.
2. Sand Making
The sand-making stage typically employs impact crushers to simultaneously crush and shape the material. Semi-finished products conveyed via conveyor belts undergo fine and ultra-fine crushing to achieve the desired finished particle size and shape.
3. Screening
Screening primarily serves as an inspection process. Materials post-crushing or sand-making undergo verification. Qualified materials are transported to stockpiles, while unqualified materials are returned to the crushing chamber for reprocessing.
Currently, specialized equipment for construction waste crushing and sand production—the mobile construction waste crushing plant—integrates the entire fixed production line into a single unit.
OCP specializes in developing and manufacturing complete sets of equipment for crushing, screening, grinding, washing, feeding, conveying, environmental protection, dust removal, as well as steel, metallurgy, and steel slag processing and recycling.
