Cone Crusher Operation Steps
The correct operation steps of the cone crusher are as follows:
1. Before starting the cone crusher, check the lubrication system, the crushing area of the cone crusher, correct the tension of the belt, and check whether the screws are tight.
2. After the cone crusher starts the oil pump motor for 5-10 minutes, check the working condition of the lubrication system, and the main motor of the cone crusher can be started only when the oil pressure is normal.
3. During the maintenance of the cone crusher, check the wear condition of the contact between the cone crusher main shaft and cone sleeve, if there is a gap of 3mm or more or if cracks are found in the main shaft, the main shaft should be replaced in time.
4. The cone crusher should run under no load for 1-2 minutes before starting to feed the ore. For coarse crushing cone crushers, it is generally possible to squeeze the ore to full capacity without any concern. For medium and fine crushing cone crusher, we have to ensure the feeding speed, not too violent. There is also more material humidity, hardness to develop an effective cleaning cycle to ensure that the material does not adhere to the wall of the crushing chamber.
5. For the part of ore retaining ring under the moving cone body, if the wear exceeds 1/2 of the ring height, the steel plate should be welded.
6. When stopping normally, the ore feed should be stopped first, and the main motor should be stopped only after all the ore in the cone crusher has been removed. Finally stop the oil pump motor. After stopping, check all parts of the crusher comprehensively and deal with any problems in time.
7. If the spherical surface of the cone crusher body is worn more than 4mm, or if the lower end of the cone surface of the body is worn more than 4mm in contact with the liner, the body should be replaced.
