Structure of Impact Crusher

Impact crusher is a new type of high efficiency ore crushing equipment. It is characterized by small size, simple structure, large crushing ratio (up to 40), low energy consumption, large production capacity, uniform product size, and selective crushing effect, which is a promising equipment. Impact crushers are divided into single and double rotors due to the different number of rotors. There are two types of impact crushers: single rotor and double rotor. The rotor of an impact crusher is fixed on the main shaft, and the cylindrical surface of the rotor is equipped with three (or more) hard plate hammers. The two ends of the shaft are placed in two roller bearings in the body and are driven directly by the motor (or by a pulley). The front and rear impact plates are suspended from the inner wall of the housing above the rotor. Between the impact plate and the feed opening, there is a chain screen consisting of many chains. This covers the whole crushing chamber, so that the material will not be splashed out of the feed opening by the impact plate. One end of the impact plate is suspended on the suspension shaft on the casing, and the other end is suspended above the casing by the tie rod and nut. The casing, impact plate and plate hammer are the most wearable parts, so the casing, impact plate and plate hammer are equipped with a layer of wear-resistant plates made of high manganese steel.

Although the impact crusher has the disadvantage of large wear of the hammer and impact plate, it will be overcome gradually with the continuous improvement of the quality of wear-resistant materials and the improvement of the structure of the crusher.
