A sand and gravel aggregate production line typically employs two-stage crushing: coarse crushing and fine crushing. Some aggregates may require tertiary crushing or shaping before screening. Coarse crushing usually utilizes gyratory crushers and jaw crushers; some use hammer crushers or impact crushers. Medium crushing uses impact crushers or cone crushers. Fine crushing and shaping commonly use vertical shaft impact crushers (sand making machines). For sand and gravel plants, environmental protection is mainly limited to dust, noise, and wastewater. The installation of multi-effect dust collection equipment is essential. Simultaneously, the production line should adopt a partially enclosed design, using dust hoods to collect generated dust, significantly reducing dust pollution. A sealed prefabricated building design can significantly reduce noise pollution, which is one of the important conditions for achieving an environmentally friendly sand and gravel production line.


Taking a 2000-ton-per-hour sand and gravel aggregate production line as an example, this project is planned with green mining as its core concept. It primarily utilizes the hard rock stripped from the mine, employing a fully enclosed design. The sealed prefabricated building design significantly reduces noise pollution, achieving environmental friendliness in the sand and gravel production line. Simultaneously, guided by supply-side reforms to meet the development needs of high-performance concrete and high-quality aggregates, it selects intelligent, environmentally friendly, safe, and high-quality crushing, shaping, screening, and control processes to produce high-quality sand and gravel aggregates.


Based on the client's specific requirements, OCP Heavy Industry organized a professional technical team to customize the entire production line according to user needs and local conditions. After comprehensive analysis, the following equipment was provided: 2 jaw crushers, 2 D heavy-duty vibrating feeders, 4 PY single-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers, 2 multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers, and 16 vibrating screens.


This production line primarily crushes hard rock. A heavy-duty vibrating feeder performs coarse screening of the material, providing continuous and uniform feeding. The material then enters a jaw crusher for primary crushing, followed by medium and fine crushing in a single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher and a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher. Excessively large aggregates are returned to the cone crushers for further crushing. The crushed material is then screened and graded by a vibrating screen.
