1. Impact of rotor speed.

Continuous material enters the high-speed rotating impeller, accelerates to form a stable kinetic material flow, and undergoes high-speed compression, grinding, and crushing within the vortex chamber, achieving continuous crushing production. From the working principle of the vertical shaft impact crusher, it can be seen that when the material particle size is fixed, as the rotor linear speed of the crusher increases, kinetic energy significantly increases; when the rotor linear speed is fixed, if the material mass increases, kinetic energy also increases, and vice versa.


The particle size of crushed stone produced by a vertical shaft impact crusher is related to the rotor linear speed of the crusher. Under the same operating conditions, if the particle size of the crushed material is larger, the rotor linear speed of the crusher is lower. Therefore, when the crushing strength of the material is high or the particle size is small, the required crushing speed should be increased. When the feed particle size, moisture content, and feed rate are the same, appropriately increasing the rotor speed (linear speed) of the crusher can enhance the production of fine powder.
