What should be paid attention to in the routine inspection of the ball mill

Ball mills are often used equipment in the mineral processing industry, and we always encounter some mechanical failures when using ball mills. In fact, some failures can be avoided, so we need to check the equipment from time to time. What should be paid attention to in the inspection?

First of all, first check whether the screws between the interfaces of each part of the equipment are loose, especially the loosening and breaking of the liner screws, resulting in slurry leakage; this work is best carried out every time a shift is handed over.

1. Check the fastening condition of all connecting bolts of the ball mill unit. If any looseness is found, stop the machine and tighten it.

2. Check the wear of the sand-returning spoon head; check the wear of the liner regularly, and replace it when worn to a certain extent.

3. Pay attention to the rough discharge or ball spit of the grinding machine.

Secondly, check the oil supply system of the ball mill:

1. Frequently check whether the oil pressure is normal, and it should be kept at 1.5-2.0 kg/cm2.

2. Check the oil quantity and oil temperature. The oil temperature must not exceed 30°C.

3. Check whether the oil flow distribution of the main journal is even.

4. Oil viscosity and cleanliness.

Ball mill motor inspection work: mainly check the motor temperature, and its temperature rise does not exceed the allowable value.

Finally, the ball mill classification equipment inspection work:

1. Check whether the blades of the spiral classifier fall off and whether the rotation is stable.

2. Whether the ore feeding pressure of the cyclone is stable, and whether there is any grinding leakage or blockage.
