The vertical shaft impact crusher, also known as a sand-making machine, is a state-of-the-art high-efficiency stone crushing equipment developed based on practical sand production requirements. The P-series vertical shaft impact crushers manufactured by OCP Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. are primarily used for stone crushing in the building materials industry, highway and railway construction, and other industrial applications requiring crushed stone. The working principle of the P Series Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher involves material entering the high-speed rotating impeller through the feed hopper. Accelerated rapidly, the material is ejected at 50–70 m/s from the uniformly distributed guide vanes and flow channels of the impeller. It then impacts the impact plate within the crushing chamber. where it first collides with another portion of material rebounding from free fall. Together, they strike the material lining (stone-on-stone) or impact blocks (stone-on-iron), rebounding at an upward angle toward the vortex chamber ceiling. Their trajectory then shifts downward, colliding with material ejected from the rotor channels to form a continuous material curtain. Thus, each piece of material undergoes multiple impacts, friction, and grinding within the vortex crushing chamber. The crushed material is discharged through the lower outlet.


The vertical shaft impact crusher offers customers the most efficient and flexible production method. It can be configured with various closed or open impellers, and features interchangeable stone-on-stone or stone-on-iron crushing chambers. Optional configurations include dry oil lubrication or thin oil lubrication for the main shaft assembly. For thin oil lubrication, a dedicated lubrication station ensures continuous oil supply to the main unit, enabling automatic control and accident alarms to minimize risks. Optional automatic control and monitoring systems provide real-time monitoring of current, spindle temperature, motor temperature, and vibration protection functions. This allows observation of machine dynamics and timely adjustments, effectively preventing equipment failures.
