The working principle of the P Series Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher involves material entering the high-speed rotating impeller through the feed hopper. Accelerated rapidly, the material is ejected at 50–70 m/s from the uniformly distributed guide vanes and flow channels of the impeller. It then impacts the impact plate within the crushing chamber. where it first collides with another portion of material rebounding from free fall. Together, they strike the material lining (stone-on-stone) or impact blocks (stone-on-iron), rebounding at an upward angle toward the vortex chamber ceiling. Their trajectory then shifts downward, colliding with material ejected from the rotor channels to form a continuous material curtain. Thus, each piece of material undergoes multiple impacts, friction, and grinding within the vortex crushing chamber. The crushed material is discharged through the lower outlet.
