Handling High-Temperature, High-Concentration Dust with Pulse Jet Baghouse Dust Collectors
Environmental protection has always been a top priority for the industry. In the sand and gravel aggregate production sector, both screening and crushing processes generate significant amounts of dust and fumes, causing severe environmental pollution. Our pulse jet baghouse dust collector integrates domestic and international dust collection technologies. Specifically designed for dry sand and gravel aggregate production, it incorporates optimized features after thorough evaluation of various baghouse types. This high-efficiency dust collector is widely adopted in aggregate systems, delivering exceptional performance in high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-concentration dust environments. This dust collector represents significant progress in both dust-laden gas purification effectiveness and structural design. It primarily consists of components such as an air storage tank, filter bags, upper housing, lower housing, and a screw conveyor.
The pulse jet baghouse dust collector operates through three main stages:
1. Filtration Stage: Dust-laden gas enters through the inlet and passes through the hopper. Larger dust particles are separated by inertial and gravitational forces, falling directly to the hopper bottom. The gas then enters the filter bag zone in the middle chamber. As gas passes through the filter bags, dust is trapped on the outer surface of the bags. Purified gas enters the upper chamber through the bag openings and exits via the outlet.
2. Cleaning Stage: As filtration continues, the dust layer on the filter bags thickens, causing the dust collector's resistance to increase. When resistance reaches a preset value, the cleaning mechanism initiates operation. First, a compartment lift valve closes to interrupt the filtration airflow. Then, an electromagnetic pulse valve opens, allowing compressed air to rapidly expand within the upper chamber in an extremely short time. This air surges into the filter bags, causing them to expand, deform, and vibrate. Simultaneously, the reverse airflow flushes the dust adhering to the outer surface of the filter bags, dislodging it into the hopper. After cleaning, the solenoid pulse valve closes and the lift valve opens, restoring the compartment to filtration mode. Cleaning proceeds sequentially through each compartment, with the cycle spanning from the start of cleaning in the first compartment to the commencement of the next cleaning cycle.
3. Dust Handling: Dust captured through filtration and cleaning falls into the hopper, where it is discharged centrally via the hopper outlet's ash discharge device. From filtration to dust collection, the airbox pulse bag filter operates through these three steps.
