Product Details

The high-pressure roller mill is a highly adaptable, efficient fine and ultrafine crushing and grinding equipment developed and designed by our company. It employs a preset crushing pressure, utilizing hydraulic cylinders in conjunction with accumulators to press two counter-rotating crushing rollers, ensuring stable pressure throughout the crushing process. This creates high-pressure crushing between the two rollers. This equipment is widely applicable for fine crushing and grinding operations across diverse materials in industries such as cement, construction, mining, and metallurgy, producing granular products of various specifications. It is also suitable for fine grinding of multiple metallurgical slags, simplifying slag processing by producing finer tailings for subsequent grinding operations.

Structural Components

The high-pressure roller mill primarily consists of the following assemblies: the compression roller assembly, feed hopper device, torque support device, hydraulic system, motor-reducer drive assembly, reducer lubrication and cooling system, and electrical control system. The compression roller assembly mainly comprises an arched frame, main shaft, roller sleeves, split wear-resistant liners, self-aligning roller bearings, and labyrinth seals. The transmission assembly primarily includes an asynchronous motor, universal joint coupling, planetary gear reducer, shrink-fit coupling, and reducer lubrication device.

Working Principle

The high-pressure roller mill comprises two counter-rotating, synchronized compression rollers—one fixed and one movable. Material under controlled pressure is continuously fed between the rolls via an adjustable feeder. Simultaneously, the hydraulic system applies 50–300 MPa compression force to the rolls. Under this high pressure, the material forms a compacted cake (which crumbles when pinched by hand) and discharges from the bottom of the machine. Within this compacted cake, approximately 20–30% consists of finished fine particles smaller than 90μm, while 70–80% of the material particles are less than 2mm in size. Even slightly larger coarse particles are internally filled with micro-cracks, significantly reducing their strength. This greatly facilitates subsequent grinding, leading to a substantial reduction in power consumption across the entire grinding system.
