1. Choose the material with strong abrasion resistance. When buying a jaw crusher or replacing the jaw plate, make sure to choose the jaw plate made of high hardness, strong toughness and good wear resistance.

2. Pay attention to the fastness of the jaw plate when installing. It is basic to fix the jaw plate firmly when installing, the jaw plate can use toothed jaw plate, if necessary, you can pad a layer of plastic material between the jaw plate and the jaw head, so that the jaw plate is firmly fixed on the jaw head, so that the contact between the jaw plate of the jaw crusher is smooth and reduce the friction.

3. Control the feed size. Generally speaking, the feed size of the jaw crusher should be controlled within 85% of the maximum size of the feed opening, so as to avoid the damage or excessive wear of the jaw plate caused by oversized stones, and to ensure the crushing effect and efficiency.

4. Sampling of materials. As the composition, hardness, humidity, mud content and other factors of the material have a greater impact on the performance of the jaw plate, therefore, before the material enters the crushing chamber, we should check whether there are any foreign materials or high hardness materials in the material, if any, we should remove the foreign materials or adjust the parameters of the crusher for high hardness materials, so as to make it conform to the crushed materials.
