The hammer mills produced by OCP Machinery Company are primarily used for crushing stone materials in the building materials industry, construction of highways and railways, and other industrial applications involving stone materials. This product is suitable for crushing operations involving medium-hardness and softer materials, featuring a unique structure, simple operation, high efficiency and energy savings, excellent product particle shape, adjustable discharge particle size, and cost-saving advantages.


The main working component of the hammer mill is the rotor equipped with hammers (also known as hammer heads). The rotor consists of a main shaft, discs, pins, and hammers. The motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed within the crushing chamber. Materials are fed into the machine through the upper feed opening and are crushed by the high-speed movement of the hammers, which exert impact, shear, and grinding forces. Below the rotor, a screen plate is installed. Particles smaller than the screen aperture size pass through the screen plate and are discharged, while larger particles are retained on the screen plate and continue to be struck and ground by the hammers before finally being discharged through the screen plate.


1. Daily maintenance of mining crushers To ensure that mining crushers remain in good technical condition, are ready for operation at any time, reduce downtime due to faults, improve the integrity and utilisation rate of mining crushers, reduce wear and tear, extend service life, lower operational and maintenance costs, and ensure safe production, it is essential to strengthen daily maintenance and upkeep of mining crushers; Regular maintenance must be carried out on a mandatory basis, and the relationship between use, maintenance, and repair must be properly managed. It is not permitted to use the equipment without maintenance or to repair it without maintenance.


2. Lubrication maintenance of mining crushers Regular attention and timely lubrication of friction surfaces ensure the normal operation of mining crushers and extend the service life of the equipment. The lubricating grease added to the bearing housing should account for 50-70% of the volume, and it must be replaced every three months. When changing the oil, the bearing raceways must be thoroughly cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene. Before starting the mining crusher, lubricating grease must be injected when the elbow plate contacts the elbow plate pad.


3. Bearing maintenance for mining crushers: Bearings are the most prone to damage, as they experience significant wear during use. Regular maintenance and lubrication are essential to extend their service life.
