As a commonly used coarse crushing equipment for aggregates, jaw crushers have a wide range of applications in industrial production. Additionally, their high operational efficiency makes them highly favoured. To ensure that jaw crushers can operate continuously and normally during production, reduce the incidence of equipment failures, and fully utilise their operational capabilities, the following points should be noted during installation.

Important Considerations for the Installation of Jaw Crushers:

1. Since jaw crushers generate significant vibration during operation, vibration-damping materials should be added to the concrete foundation during construction to effectively reduce the impact of vibration and noise on the surrounding environment.

2. To ensure smooth discharge of crushed material, a layer of steel plate should be laid in the discharge chute, with an inclination angle generally not less than 50°.

3. The size of the discharge opening should be adjusted reasonably according to the required product particle size. When adjusting, first loosen the bolts and tension springs, use the lifting bolts to pry open the adjustment seat, insert or remove shims of corresponding thickness, then retract the lifting bolts, and adjust the spring preload to ensure that the elbow plates, elbow plate pads, and shim sets are tightly fitted during equipment operation.
