
How to solve the crusher blockage problem
Crusher crushing blockage will cause the motor to jump stop due to overload. Usually there are two situations that cause this phenomenon: the first is that the crusher output is high and the plate conveyor is too late to pull away; the second is that the crusher continues to crush when the downstream equipment trips and stops. Once this happens, all the materials in the crushing cavity have to be sorted out before the crusher can be turned on, which is time-consuming and takes at least 3 to 4 hours to complete.
The crushing of materials can not be separated from the crusher, but as mentioned above, if there is a blockage in the process of conveying the material down, it will reduce the crushing capacity, affecting productivity, and even affect the size of the finished material, so how should we avoid this phenomenon?
1. Pre-treatment of materials
If the material to be crushed is large in humidity, viscosity, or contains too much unbreakable material, the material can first be screened, cleaned, to reduce the difficulty of crushing materials.
2. Install an alarm device at the feed opening of the crusher
Install an electric bell and alarm flashing light in the crusher pouring mouth directly connected to the relay in the electrical cabinet. When the plate conveyor reaches a set current value, the relay will absorb, the alarm light will start flashing and the electric bell will ring. If the downstream equipment jumps to a stop and the plate conveyor current is zero, the sound and light alarm will also be prompted. The mine car driver will stop pouring material after receiving the alarm prompt, so as to prevent blocking material.
3. Adjust the v-belt tightness
If the v-belt is too loose, it will rotate with the trough wheel and a large amount of material cannot be crushed and stagnate in the crushing cavity of the roller crusher, causing material blockage. Therefore, it is only necessary to adjust the elasticity of the v-belt.
4. Observe whether the operation of eccentric shaft is normal
When the eccentric shaft tightening bushing is loose, the eccentric shaft will be stuck and the crushing work will not be carried out, so always pay attention to the normal operation of the eccentric shaft.
