In response to market demand for sand and gravel and increasingly stringent environmental regulations, it is essential to focus on equipment selection and efficient, eco-friendly production line design. What environmental factors should be considered in mechanically produced sand production line design?

(1) Dust Prevention and Collection Measures

Designs generally adopt a strategy prioritizing prevention while integrating control measures. Minimize dust generation points in all process stages before medium and fine crushing by using well-sealed conveying and feeding equipment. During material pipe design at equipment connections, pay attention to pipe shape, angles, and minimize drop height. High-efficiency, reliable dust collectors with proven performance should be installed at all dust emission points to ensure emissions remain below national standards. Intermediate materials and soil-containing waste should be stored in enclosed sheds with spray dust suppression systems to minimize environmental impact.

(2) Noise Control

Noise mitigation begins with selecting low-noise equipment during procurement. Noise-generating equipment shall be housed within enclosed workshops, with exterior greenery planted to block sound propagation.

(3) Wastewater Treatment and Slurry Discharge

Wastewater primarily consists of domestic sewage and sand-washing effluent: Domestic wastewater undergoes pretreatment before being combined with other effluents at the plant's wastewater treatment station. After meeting standards, it is recycled for production line use. Wastewater from screening and washing is treated through the sand/gravel washing and waste cement material processing systems, then reused as production water. Sludge cakes from sludge treatment and waste soil from pre-screening are utilized as mine reclamation base layers, achieving zero discharge of wastewater and sludge.
