The quality of sand washers is now a critical focus in the sand and gravel industry. The sand washing process is an indispensable part of the sand and gravel production line. During the crushing and sand-making process, sand and gravel undergo intense collisions. Combined with the inherent soil content of the raw stone material, the resulting sand and gravel often contain stone powder and mud powder. During operation, the bucket wheel sand washer's motor drives the impeller to rotate slowly via a V-belt, reducer, and gear reduction. Sand and gravel enter the washing trough through the feed chute, where they tumble and grind against each other under the impeller's action. This removes impurities covering the surface of the sand and gravel while breaking down the water vapor layer enveloping the sand particles, facilitating dehydration. Simultaneously, water is added to create a powerful flow that promptly carries away impurities and lighter foreign matter, discharging them through the overflow outlet of the washing tank to complete the cleaning process. Clean sand and gravel are transported by the blades and finally discharged from the rotating impeller into the discharge chute, concluding the washing operation. This machine is widely used in sand and gravel aggregate processing for washing sand, effectively removing mixed stone powder and debris to enhance sand quality.
