Once crushed, it can be used as a substitute for limestone in cement production, as raw material for producing quicklime, in the manufacture of chemical products, in the production of building materials, and for environmental remediation. Calcium carbide residue is a light gray, fine-grained residue discharged during the process of producing acetylene through the reaction of calcium carbide and water. Its main component is calcium hydroxide, and it also contains small amounts of silicon dioxide, iron oxide, aluminum oxide, and magnesium oxide. It appears grayish-white and is strongly alkaline. During handling, care must be taken to prevent contact with organic matter to avoid the generation of harmful gases. Therefore, equipment such as jaw crushers, cone crushers, and impact crushers are more suitable. The specific choice depends on actual production requirements.


01 Jaw Crusher


Primarily used for primary and secondary crushing, it employs compression crushing technology with optimized motion parameters. The deep crushing chamber design eliminates dead zones, improving material throughput efficiency. The wedge-type discharge opening adjustment allows for flexible control of final particle size, ensuring uniform material particle size. Additionally, the flywheel helps dampen vibrations, resulting in smoother machine operation. 02 Cone Crusher


Produces 12–13 mm crushed stone. Its operating principle is based on the mutual compression between the internal moving cone and the fixed cone. Different chamber types can be selected to better meet user needs. Product particle size is controlled by adjusting the discharge opening. It features high crushing force, high efficiency, strong wear resistance, comprehensive overload protection, and is easy to automate, effectively reducing damage to the equipment caused by non-crushable objects.


03 Impact Crusher


Produces 0.5-inch aggregate and 0.25–0.5 mm manufactured sand. It combines two operating modes—stone-on-stone and stone-on-iron—along with two feeding methods to ensure smooth material flow and prevent blockages. A high-speed rotating impeller propels material into the crushing chamber, where it collides, friction, and grinds against other particles. Improvements in the four-port impeller design and the impact angle within the crushing chamber resulting in a finer final product. Equipped with a modular discharge head, only the worn parts need to be replaced. Additionally, the upper and lower peripheral liners can be flipped, extending service life.
