Aggregates are widely used in construction, road building, water conservancy, and other fields, and are indispensable materials for the development of these sectors. They are primarily processed from minerals such as limestone, river pebbles, quartzite, and basalt, with particle sizes typically ranging from 5 to 31.5 mm. However, what does a complete set of aggregate processing equipment include? And how much does it cost?

There are currently many types of aggregate processing equipment on the market, and with over 300 types of ores available, selection must be based on factors such as raw material hardness, compressive strength, particle size, output requirements, and production capacity. Common equipment includes jaw crushers, impact crushers, cone crushers, and impact crushers, which are categorized into primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing as well as sand making processes to meet the needs of production operations of various scales.

1. Jaw Crusher

Suitable for large blocks of ore of various hardness levels, it is capable of handling both primary and secondary crushing tasks. Utilizing compression crushing technology with optimized motion parameters, its deep crushing chamber design eliminates dead zones, enhancing material throughput efficiency. The wedge-type discharge opening adjustment allows for flexible control of final particle size, ensuring uniform particle distribution. Additionally, the flywheel helps reduce vibration, resulting in smoother machine operation. The integrated design of the motor base and main unit simplifies installation, saves floor space, and improves site utilization.

2 Impact Crusher

Suitable for crushing materials of medium hardness and below, producing 12mm and 13mm crushed stone. A high-speed rotating rotor drives the impact plates to crush the material fed into the crushing chamber through impact, Subsequently, the material undergoes secondary impact, friction, and fracturing against the impact plates, achieving fine crushing. The equipment’s unique wedge-locking system ensures the stability and reliability of the impact plates during high-speed rotor operation. Furthermore, the built-in adjustment mechanism facilitates the regulation of output particle size, ensuring excellent shape and grain size of the finished aggregate.

3 Cone Crusher

Suitable for medium-to-high hardness ores, producing 12mm and 13mm crushed stone. Its operating principle is based on the mutual compression between the internal moving cone and the fixed cone. Different chamber types can be selected to better meet user requirements. Product particle size is controlled by adjusting the discharge opening. It features high crushing force, high efficiency, strong wear resistance, comprehensive overload protection, and is easy to automate, effectively reducing damage to the equipment caused by non-crushable materials.

4 Impact Crusher

Suitable for various soft, medium-hard, and high-hardness materials, producing 0.5mm crushed stone and 0.25–0.5mm manufactured sand. Specifically designed for the fine crushing and sand production of aggregate materials, it combines “stone-on-stone” and “stone-on-iron” crushing mechanisms with two feeding methods. Material is propelled into the crushing chamber by a high-speed rotating impeller, where it undergoes mutual collision, friction, and grinding. Improvements include a four-port impeller design and optimized impact angles within the crushing chamber, the final product is relatively fine. Equipped with a modular discharge head, only the worn parts need to be replaced. Additionally, the upper and lower peripheral liners can be flipped, extending service life.
