What to Do When the Frame Bearing Housing or Moving Jaw of a Jaw Crusher Overheats
Causes:
Oil supply interruption or excessive oil injection;
Blocked oil ports preventing oil injection;
Misalignment of the flywheel counterweight causing frame vibration;
Axial movement of the locking bushing;
Bearing wear or cage damage;
Non-bearing temperature rise due to friction heat between the moving jaw seal sleeve and end cover, or between the frame bearing housing's dual-embedded covers. Axial movement of the locking bushing; bearing wear or damaged retainer; non-bearing temperature rise caused by friction heat between the moving jaw seal sleeve and end cover, or friction heat from the frame bearing housing's double-embedded cover rotating with the main shaft.
Troubleshooting Methods:
Apply oil regularly and in specified quantities; clear obstructions from oil holes and oil grooves; adjust the flywheel counterweight position; Remove the frame bearing cover, secure the locking bushing, and disassemble the flywheel or groove pulley; replace the locking bushing; replace the bearing; replace the end cover and seal sleeve. Alternatively, loosen the upper bearing cover on the overheating side of the frame bearing housing, press the fuse and insert cover into the frame bearing housing groove together, then secure the bearing cover to prevent insert cover rotation.
