A cone crusher is a type of crushing machinery suitable for the crushing of raw materials in industries such as metallurgy, construction, road building, chemistry, and silicates. Depending on the different crushing principles and product particle sizes, it is further divided into many models.

Crusher machines are widely used in various sectors such as mining, smelting, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy, and chemical industries. Cone crushers feature a high crushing ratio, high efficiency, low energy consumption, and uniform product particle size, making them suitable for medium and fine crushing of various minerals and rocks.

When the wear thickness of the moving cone and fixed cone liners reaches 65%–80% or there is local wear, deformation, or cracking, they should be replaced. After installing the liners, check whether their centres are aligned correctly. If the centres are misaligned, collisions may occur during operation, resulting in uneven product particle size and causing overheating of internal friction components. Before casting zinc alloy, all gaps must be tightly sealed with clay or asbestos to prevent zinc alloy leakage.

During casting, the surfaces in contact with the alloy must remain dry; otherwise, explosions may occur. Therefore, prior to casting, preheating and drying should be performed. Alternatively, to save time (without preheating), a layer of machine oil can be applied to the contact surfaces, followed by casting using specialised tools. After casting, tighten the bolts securing the liners.
