What are the advantages of vertical impact sand-making machines
Also known as impact crushers, these sand-making machines represent our company's independently developed new-generation shaping and sand-making equipment. Designed based on practical domestic sand production requirements and refined through multiple technical iterations, they constitute advanced sand-making machinery. Unlike conventional sand-making equipment, their frames are constructed from high-manganese steel—a highly wear-resistant material—ensuring exceptional durability.
Application Scope of Sand Making Machines
This machine is specifically designed to provide high-quality sand and aggregate for motorways, high-speed railways, high-rise buildings, municipal projects, hydroelectric dam construction, and concrete mixing plants. It is an essential piece of equipment in the fields of artificial sand production and aggregate shaping. Typically integrated with jaw crushers, impact crushers, sand washers, vibrating screens, and conveyors to form a complete sand production line, it significantly enhances the quality of finished aggregates. The end product exhibits excellent particle shape, offering substantial profit margins, low investment costs, and a short return on investment period.
Working Principle of the Sand Making Machine
Material is fed into the sand-making machine via the hopper and divided into two streams by the distributor. One stream enters the high-speed rotating impeller through its central opening, where it is rapidly accelerated. This accelerated material is then ejected through the impeller's three evenly spaced channels. It first collides with material falling from the distributor's periphery, causing impact fragmentation. Both streams then strike the material lining within the vortex chamber. Rebounding from this lining, before rebounding diagonally upwards towards the vortex chamber ceiling. This redirects their trajectory downward, forming a continuous material curtain as it exits the impeller channels. Within the vortex crushing chamber, the material undergoes multiple impacts, friction, and grinding actions. The crushed material is discharged through the lower outlet.
Advantages of Vertical Impact Sand Making Machines:
1. Multi-functional operation with superior particle shape
2. High sand yield and substantial output volume
3. Excellent product quality with outstanding cost-effectiveness
Performance characteristics of vertical impact sand-making machines:
1. High throughput and output capacity – 50-500 t/h, achieving 30% higher stable production compared to conventional equipment of equivalent power.
2. Low wear part consumption — Optimised material impact angle within the crushing chamber minimises friction with wear components, reducing operational costs by 40% compared to conventional equipment and directly lowering overall usage expenses.
3. Superior product particle shape — Produces cubical particles with excellent shape, rational gradation, and adjustable fineness modulus, making it particularly suitable for artificial sand production and aggregate shaping. Practical testing demonstrates a 30% improvement in sand-making and shaping efficiency over traditional equipment.
4. Hydraulic system for easy maintenance — The hydraulic cover-opening mechanism facilitates swift inspection and replacement of internal components, minimising downtime and saving time and labour.
5. Oil-bath lubrication with automatic maintenance — Utilises an original oil-bath lubrication station with dual complementary oil pumps ensuring continuous oil supply; automatically shuts down during oil flow or pressure loss; features water-cooling for temperature regulation and winter motor heating for start-up.
6. Simple installation and user-friendly operation – Lightweight design with versatile installation options, including mobile configurations. Straightforward installation, maintenance, and servicing. Once the specific application is defined, the PLS sand-making machine requires only minor adjustments to maximise performance.
7. Multi-functional and adaptable operation – Featuring a unique feed crushing structure with multiple crushing chamber configurations, it facilitates seamless switching between ‘stone-on-stone’ and ‘stone-on-iron’ modes, resolving the challenge of multi-purpose machinery. To adapt the sand maker for different applications—such as sand production, shaping, or grinding abrasive materials—requires only minor adjustments, accommodating diverse user requirements.
