Specifications and Models of Double-Stage Crushers
Double-stage crushers, also known as dual-rotor screenless crushers, feature a dual-chamber structure and a series design with upper and lower rotors. They are suitable for processing high-hardness or high-moisture materials such as coal gangue, shale, and coal ash, offering high production efficiency, intelligent and eco-friendly operation, and excellent particle shape. What are the specifications and models of double-stage crushers?
There are 7 models of the double-stage crusher, with hourly capacities ranging from 10 to 300 tons. They are suitable for stone materials with a feed size of 200 mm or less, producing a final product size of 3 mm or less (with approximately 80% or more being 2 mm or smaller). The particle size can be adjusted by changing the gap between the crushing hammers. For a detailed technical specifications table of the double-stage crusher, please contact customer service.

The Double-Rotary Crusher features two counter-rotating rotors and an impact anvil positioned between them. Crushing primarily occurs between the two rotors. During operation, driven by dual motors, the two sets of rotors—connected in series—rotate simultaneously at high speed, performing continuous crushing in two stages. Material crushed by the upper rotor is immediately subjected to further fine crushing by the rapidly rotating hammers of the lower rotor, Materials within the chamber collide rapidly with one another, grinding each other into fine particles to meet the requirements of various applications.
Advantages of the Double-Rotor Crusher
The two-stage crushing process using upper and lower rotors achieves a “hammer-on-material, material-on-material” effect, with the final product discharged directly.
Electric-hydraulic operation allows a single operator to handle machine operation, maintenance, and component replacement.
The output particle size is uniform, with a high crushing ratio, low over-crushing rate, low content of needle- and flake-shaped particles, and no internal cracks.
High-alloy wear-resistant hammers are used, shortening the residence time of material in the crushing chamber and thereby extending the service life of wear parts.
The gap adjustment technology allows hammers to be repositioned and reused after wear, eliminating the need for repair; a single set of hammers can provide the equivalent performance of three sets.
Regarding the price of the double-impact crusher, it is not particularly high, but there is some variation. Due to differing specific processing requirements in actual production, the selected models vary, resulting in price differences. Additionally, the large number of manufacturers and the multitude of brands on the market also lead to inconsistent pricing.
