PF series impact crusher (impact crusher) can well crush all kinds of coarse, medium and fine materials (granite, limestone, concrete, etc.) with side length up to 500mm and compressive strength up to 350MPa, which is widely used in various ore crushing, production of artificial sand and stone materials in railroad, highway and construction industries. Working principle of PF impact crusher:

The working principle of impact crusher is basically the same as hammer crusher, they both use high speed impact action to crush the material, but the structure and working process are different, the following is the working principle of impact crusher.

The main working part of an impact crusher is a high-speed rotor with a plate hammer. The material fed into the crusher is impacted by the plate hammer in the rotor's swing range (i.e. hammering zone), thrown at high speed against the impact plate, and then bounced back to the plate hammer from the impact plate, repeating the above process. In such a round-trip process, there is a mutual collision between the materials. The material stuck between the impact plate and the plate hammer is also subject to the milling effect of the high-speed rotating plate hammer. As the material is hit by the plate hammer, the impact on the impact plate, the collision between the material and the milling effect of the plate hammer on the material, so that the cracks in the material continue to expand and produce new cracks, eventually leading to crushing. When the size of the material is smaller than the gap between the impact plate and the plate hammer is discharged.


Impact Crusher Application Features:

The impact crusher is used to crush the material by total impact crushing, the application characteristics of the equipment are mainly in the following aspects.

① High crushing efficiency. The general material. The impact crusher is only 1/10 of the ton, the crushing efficiency of the material is high, the unit electricity consumption of crushing material is only l/3 of the jaw crusher, so the production capacity of the machine is large, the crushing ratio is large, and the energy consumption is small.

②High crushing ratio. The crushing ratio can reach 30-40, which is equivalent to the series connection of coarse crushing and medium crushing crusher, or the series connection of medium crushing and fine crushing crusher. Therefore, one machine can be used in tandem with two ordinary crushers, thus simplifying the process and procedure.

③The structure of impact crusher is simple, reliable, easy to operate and maintain.

④It is suitable for crushing and processing medium-hard materials, not suitable for processing hard and viscous plastic materials.

⑤The plate hammer and impact plate of the crusher are worn out and need regular maintenance and replacement, and the balance adjustment should be made when the plate hammer is replaced.

⑥The crusher is noisy and generates a lot of dust when it works.
