Measures to Reduce Abnormal Vibration in Jaw Crushers

A. Ensure a Solid Installation Foundation

1. When installing a jaw crusher, select a firm and level ground surface. Failure to do so may cause foundation subsidence after prolonged operation, leading to excessive vibration.

2. Follow a scientifically sound installation procedure. Ensure the foundation is properly laid during installation. Periodically inspect the foundation for loosening during operation and reinforce it promptly if any movement is detected.

B. Operational Inspections

1. Regularly check for loosening of fasteners such as bolts and screws securing the jaw crusher. Inspect the foundation for stability, tightening any loose components immediately. Verify that the flywheel remains properly aligned, correcting any misalignment promptly.

2. Regularly inspect bearing clearances. Ensure proper bearing lubrication during operation to minimize vibration caused by bearing damage. Thoroughly inspect the main shaft. Uneven stress distribution or prolonged overload operation can cause severe bending deformation of the main shaft, leading to equipment vibration. Promptly correct the main shaft if possible; replace it with a new one if correction is unfeasible.

3. Pay attention to material moisture and hardness. Avoid feeding excessively wet or overly hard materials into the crushing chamber, as this impairs the jaw crusher's production efficiency.
