The quality of manufactured sand hinges critically on the sand making machine. But which machine produces the best sand? This question is difficult to answer, as each type suits different scenarios and produces sand for varying applications—the right fit is what matters most. Therefore, we must not only understand the machine model and performance but also carefully analyze the material being crushed. Recently, a customer inquired, “My sand making machine doesn't seem to reach the original production capacity I expected.” Why is this? One possible reason is the impeller speed.

Continuous material enters the high-speed rotating impeller, accelerating to form a steady stream of kinetic energy. Within the vortex chamber, this creates high-speed compression, grinding, and crushing, enabling continuous production.

Based on the working principle of vertical shaft impact crushers, when the material particle size is fixed, increasing the rotor's linear speed significantly boosts kinetic energy. Conversely, when the rotor's linear speed remains constant, increasing the material mass also increases kinetic energy, and vice versa. The particle size of crushed stone produced by vertical shaft impact crushers is directly related to the rotor's linear speed.

Under identical operating conditions, larger feed particle size necessitates lower rotor linear velocity. Consequently, higher crushing speeds are required for materials with greater crushing strength or smaller feed particle size. When feed particle size, moisture content, and feed rate remain constant, appropriately increasing the crusher rotor speed (linear velocity) enhances the output of fine powder.

Regarding the selection of a sand-making machine, the model must be configured based on actual production conditions (material hardness and moisture content, production requirements, feed particle size, and output particle size specifications).
