In operation, a hydraulic cone crusher uses the rotation of an electric motor to drive the pulley or coupling, transmission shaft, and cone assembly, causing the eccentric shaft to perform a periodic oscillating motion along the centerline. Once material enters the crushing chamber through the feed opening, it is subjected to impact, compression, grinding, and shearing forces generated by the interaction between the eccentric shaft and the bowl liner, thereby achieving the crushing effect. The hydraulic safety system uses hydraulic pressure to move the support sleeve and the fixed cone away from the obstruction in the event of a metal-in-feed failure or a jammed machine.
