The double roll crusher is suitable for crushing various materials such as granite, basalt, limestone, river pebbles, and coal. It features a compact size, high crushing ratio, and strong crushing capacity.


The double roll crusher primarily consists of rollers, roller support bearings, a compression and adjustment mechanism, and a drive system. They operate by applying high-speed relative motion between the two rollers to crush materials through compression. The discharge particle size can be controlled by adjusting the gap between the rollers. When encountering excessively hard or non-crushable materials, the rollers automatically retract under hydraulic cylinder or spring force, allowing the hard or non-crushable objects to pass through and preventing machine damage.


Roll Shell Materials for Double Roll Crushers


1. High-Chromium Composite Roll Shell:

   Outer layer: High-chromium alloy

   Inner layer: Ductile iron

   Primarily used for fine crushing double roll crushers. When selecting equipment, a roll ring grinding device should be included to ensure optimal functionality.


2. Cast Steel Outer Layer with Wear-Resistant Welded Roll Shell: This type offers excellent wear and impact resistance with simple repair. When configured as a fine crusher, it can perform coarse crushing and even meet fine crushing requirements where particle size demands are not stringent. Its drawback is the difficulty in ensuring dimensional accuracy when using welding for the surface layer.
