Product Details

Vibrating feeders are specifically designed to uniformly convey large bulk materials to primary crushers in crushing and screening operations. Featuring a dual-eccentric shaft vibrator structure, these feeders ensure robust performance under the impact of falling bulk materials while delivering high feeding capacity. Within production processes, they uniformly, timed, and continuously feed lumpy or granular materials from storage bins into crushers. In sand and gravel production lines, they provide continuous, even feeding to crushing machinery while performing coarse screening. This prevents crusher stalling caused by uneven feeding, thereby extending equipment lifespan. Widely applied in combined crushing and screening equipment across metallurgy, coal mining, mineral processing, building materials, chemical, and abrasive industries.

Working Principle

The vibrating feeder utilizes centrifugal force generated by rotating eccentric weights within the vibrator to force the movable components—such as the screen box and vibrator—into continuous circular or near-circular motion. It consists of a feed trough, exciter, spring mounts, and transmission system. The vibrator serves as the vibration source for the trough. It comprises two eccentric shafts (drive and driven) and a gear pair. An electric motor drives the drive shaft via a V-belt, which then engages the gear on the driven shaft to rotate it. The simultaneous counter-rotation of the drive and driven shafts causes the trough to vibrate, enabling continuous material flow and achieving the purpose of material conveyance. Vibrating feeders are categorized by structure and application into: Z-series, D-series, and G-series models. Naturally, naming conventions vary among manufacturers, and model differences are common.

The Z Series Vibrating Feeder is designed based on the principle of generating excitation force through shaft eccentricity. It is primarily used for continuous and uniform feeding before primary crushers, while also pre-screening fine particles to enhance crusher efficiency. It is widely applied in metallurgy, mining, chemical, coal, building materials, and other industries. Features include stable vibration, reliable operation, and extended service life. The discharge end offers versatile configurations, accommodating screen bars, flat plates, or perforated plates with adjustable bar spacing. Utilizing oil lubrication ensures optimal lubrication, heat dissipation, and longevity. An optional variable-frequency drive motor facilitates precise feed rate control, eliminating frequent motor starts.

The D Series Vibrating Feeder is a high-efficiency, heavy-duty feeder produced by our company using imported technology. This series features a reinforced frame designed for enhanced durability, ensuring high reliability under harsh and complex operating conditions. Its robust heavy-duty trough structure offers reliable strength, impact resistance, high processing capacity, and broad applicability. Featuring serrated grating arranged in steps, it offers self-cleaning functionality, minimizes material blockage, and facilitates easy replacement and gap adjustment. With large amplitude, high feeding capacity, and a large effective pre-screening area, it delivers excellent pre-screening performance. Incorporating vibration-damping technology prevents lateral sway caused by resonance during start-up and shutdown. Optional variable frequency drive motors allow convenient control of feed rates.

The G Series Vibrating Feeder is a trough-type feeder powered by vibration motors. Primarily used to uniformly, continuously, and quantitatively convey loose bulk materials, granules, and powders from storage bins to receiving equipment, it finds extensive application in metallurgy, mining, chemical, coal, and building materials industries. Serving as auxiliary equipment in mineral and rock crushing processing systems, it represents a simple, practical, and highly efficient storage and feeding solution. Key features include: - Simple structure and easy maintenance - Low noise, easy installation, stable operation, quick start-up, and smooth shutdown - Vibration motors as excitation source cause material to follow a parabolic trajectory, minimizing trough wear and extending service life - Instantaneous adjustment and initiation of material flow enhance metering accuracy - Trough formed by integral bending process ensures lightweight construction with high strength

Each of these three feeder types possesses distinct advantages, but which production lines are they best suited for? The G-series vibrating feeder (suspended motor type) is commonly used with medium and fine crushers, offering stable feeding and adjustable capacity based on crusher size. The D-series heavy-duty vibrating feeder handles harsh and complex operating conditions, primarily serving coarse crushing in large-scale mining operations. The Z-series vibrating feeder is widely applied in metallurgy, mining, chemical, coal, and building materials industries. Customizable features include elevated weir plates and liners, while the pre-screening section of the base plate can be fitted with blind plates or steel mesh to adapt to diverse operational requirements.
