What types of tertiary crushers are available
A tertiary crusher is a machine that can crush stone into particles smaller than 5-10mm, similar in function to a sand maker. It comes in various types and models, and each manufacturer's equipment models vary. This article provides a detailed introduction.
What types of tertiary crushers are available?
1. Tertiary crusher
A tertiary crusher, also known as a hydraulic open-box crusher, has a feed size of less than 190mm, a power rating of 37-315kW, an hourly output of 10-310 tons, and a discharge size of 0-10mm. Its advantages include stable and reliable performance, high efficiency, low price, and low operating and maintenance costs, making it a commonly used model for tertiary crushing operations.
2. Impact Crusher
Impact crushers, also known as sand making machines, have a feed size of 35-50mm and a production capacity of 12-650t/h. They come in a variety of models, including the HX direct-flow impact crusher, the VSI crusher, and the HVI crusher. Each type includes several models suitable for a variety of large, medium, and small-scale fine crushing operations. Unlike other fine crushers, they offer high output and excellent performance, making them large-scale fine crushers and commonly used in sand production lines.
3. Double-roller Crusher
Double-roller crushers are horizontal in structure, utilizing the force between two toothed rollers to crush the material. Adjusting the gap between the rollers controls the output size. They have a feed size of ≤30mm and a production capacity of 5-110t/h. They have virtually no moisture requirements for the crushed material, preventing sticking or clogging due to excessive moisture. They offer a high reduction ratio, are easy to operate, quiet, and produce minimal pollution. They are also relatively affordable, making them particularly suitable for crushing materials such as coal.
4. Compound Crusher
The compound crusher is minimally affected by the moisture content of the material, with a moisture content of approximately 8%. Its feed size is 50-100mm, and its production capacity is 5-100 tons/hour. It produces cubic products with a high bulk density, minimal iron contamination, minimal wear on the impeller lining, and easy maintenance.
