Feeding method and precautions for coarse crusher

The size of the feeding hopper of large crusher should be determined according to the unloading method, the amount of each unloading, unloading interval time and other factors. The effective volume storage capacity of the feeding hopper can be considered as 100~200t. Heavy-duty plate feeder is generally used in the lower part of the feeding hopper to feed the large crusher; medium-sized and small-sized coarse crusher can also be fed by medium-sized plate feeder or large electromagnetic vibrating feeder. The width of the feeder should be not less than twice the feed size of the crusher.

The feed size of large crusher is relatively large, in order to prevent the unloading of large pieces of material smashed feed hopper, in the back wall and both sides of the feed hopper, as well as the outlet paved with steel rails or thick steel plate. The feed hopper needs to have a suitable shape and size to prevent blockage or jamming of material in the hopper.

For example, in order to make the normal operation of the equipment and improve the life of the equipment, the coarse crushing cone crusher should pay attention to the following matters when working:

(1)Before starting, check the lubrication system, the crushing area of the cone, correct the tension of the belt, and all the screw pins should be tightened.

(2) Firstly, start the oil pump motor for 5 - 10 minutes, then check the working condition of the lubrication system, and start the main motor only when it works normally.

(3) The crusher can only start feeding ore after running with no load for 1--2 minutes. Since the gyratory crusher is crowded to feed the ore, so pay attention to whether the feeding situation is normal or not, especially the ore containing much mud and high moisture, to prevent the ore from blocking the feeding mouth. In operation, also pay attention to check the discharge situation, do not allow the accumulation of ore in the space below the sealing device.

(4) When stopping normally, the ore feeding should be stopped first, and only after all the ores in the crusher are removed can the main motor operation be stopped. Stop the oil pump motor. After stopping the machine, all parts of the crusher should be fully inspected, and any problems found should be dealt with in time.
