Calcium carbonate powder production process will be used in addition to the core mill equipment (vertical mill, Raymond mill, etc.), will involve the following steps:


1. Raw material preparation: Calcium carbonate raw materials from a wide range of sources, common natural limestone, marble, calcite and so on. When choosing raw materials, you need to consider its chemical composition, purity and particle size and other factors. High-quality raw materials are the basis for producing high-quality calcium carbonate products.


2. Crushing and Grinding: After the raw materials are initially screened, they need to be crushed and ground. Crusher such as jaw crusher and cone crusher will crush the large raw materials into smaller particles, grinding equipment such as vertical mill or Raymond mill to grind the materials. After grinding the material into the classification equipment for classification and screening, in order to obtain a specific particle size distribution of the product.


3. Classification and Screening: The materials after grinding are classified by classification equipment such as vibrating screen and cyclone, the unqualified particles are returned to the mill for regrinding, and the qualified fines go to the next process.


4. Drying: The processed calcium carbonate products usually contain a certain amount of moisture, and need to be dried. Commonly used drying equipment are rotary dryer and spray dryer.


5. Packaging and storage: After drying calcium carbonate products are measured, packaged and stored or transported. Packaging equipment includes automatic filling machine and powder packaging machine.
